An Ode to Wednesdays from a Wednesday’s Child by Paula Puolakka

Paula Puolakka | Nov 13th, 2019 | poetry | No Comments

Poem

On Wednesdays, we wield words for witches.
On Wednesdays, we hail those digging the ditches.
On Wednesdays, we remember the children full of woe.
On Wednesdays, we play the songs starting with the note Do.
On Wednesdays, we won’t start any fights,
but it doesn’t mean that we are not aware of our rights.
