Featured Poem: Melee children by Wazi M. Kunene

At night, it’s mayhem
Say the echo is a fiend
Woo woo
Abandon the thoughts, now that’s a dream
Ludicrous
Wandering, are all the melee children
Bellowing,
I’m here, I’m here, I’m here
Woo woo

Tonight the echo is a fiend
Woo woo
Now all your teeth are falling off
Abandon the prayer, that’s a plea
Ludicrous
Coming, are all the melee children
Bellowing,
I’m here I’m here I’m here
Woo woo

Tonight the shadows, be vicious and elusive
Woo woo
The mirrors are lurking
Abandon yourself, you don’t know how, now that’s
Ludicrous
Coming, are all the melee children
Bellowing,
I’m here I’m here I’m here
Woo woo

A forlorn attempt to escape my makers,
orisons swag an autumn collapse,
a genesis from an itch.
I mourn for my makers, breath hovering, gravity spurning.
Homeless.
Could never have reckoned my glory!
Mind warp.
Know that, you are aquited

Woo woo

Bet you think that’s how I’m coming
Woo woo
This is a warning
Remember the others
Coming, are all your melee children
Bellowing,
I’m here I’m here I’m here
Woo woo
