Poet Bio

I have felt the cold
I have felt the warmth
I have grown.

I have walked and ran in your harsh winds.
I have slept
I have tried to keep warm but your presence could not be avoided…
I have grown.

Big Jackets, Gloves, Boots and socks just to keep away from you and protect myself against you, yet you are felt.

There is something to be learnt.
Something to be felt about your presence.
We don’t need to hide ourselves.
We don’t have to disappear just because situations and people are not ready for us.
We don’t have to shrink ourselves.
We don’t have to change ourselves.
We just have to be…
Some will embrace us, some won’t.
And it is fine.

So Goodbye June, thank you for the lessons. Thank you for the wins.
