[tab id=1]A Poem A Day writing prompt… the house of negative, the house of positive

Sole food on Melancholy’s Welcome mat
This house of pain
Where Pandora serves “Trouble’s Brew” as the side-dish

Brain stained by strains of days and space
Galactic shifts geared to moon’s drift
Leaving tired marks on your road
Smoking exhaustion out you lungs
Breathe heavy

Trouble to drink …with coke as dilution
Splitting feelings, leaving heads reeling
Floors appear in mirrors standing upright looking into you
While you on your flaws in agony
Vodka tears leave your eyes wasted
At rock bottom[/tab]
