I am whole, when I am scattered by Nkateko Tshabalala

Poem

I am looking for words sculptured from memories
I want to find windows that will let me peer into prophecies
I am yearning to run into doors that will let me escape
to lead me in the house of mirrors,
looking for the images that mirror me
I am searching for the pillars of the mountains that breathe in the clouds,
those that fortify the wisdom of the stars
I am longing to watch the waterfalls of the oceans
I am whole when I am scattered.
