Natural Selection
Bearing a memory to those that roamed
Those that ruled
Those that ravaged
The earth
There a statue stands tall
A majestic message to the dominant creatures to follow:
Here stands man,
Once a great conquerer of the world,
Or so he thought.
Naturally his victory over nature
Could not stand the test of time.
Perhaps nature’s memory of him might…
