Poet Bio

At his death

I wrote of golden tears

shed for a

cruel

step-grandfather

And how I hoped

tears for my own father

would not be the same

I wrote this

by a lake

And the ways of water

healed my body

The way the golden hand

can never do

tears of loss tears of love

What I keep for myself.
