If we were all to jump into the air at the same time, would the force of our collective landing knock the earth off its course around the sun? on 28 September 100 000 poets around the globe will lend their voices to a heartfelt wish to change the world, to make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race.

Jozi House of Poetry is hosting the international event 100,000 Poets for Peace, Love and Justice on the 28th of September from 9am to 6pm at Afrikan Freedom Station in Westdene, Johannesburg.

Kids are in the morning 9 – 11; then I host 11-2; the Vangi and raphael hose 2-5; and Phillippa wraps it up 5-6. 100,000 Poets for Change – Peace Love and Justice.

Phillippa Yaa De Villiers will start out with the early session 9am-11am for the young and very young, the poems that grew us.

11am-2pm will be hosted by Myesha Jenkins,

2pm-5pm is hosted by Vangi Gantsho and Raphael D’Abdon.

Sarah Godsell and Phillippa Yaa DeVilliers will host the 5pm-6pm slot.

If we could breathe and speak only of love, peace and justice for a whole day, could we make it real for just that day? And if we did make it real, would it be embroidered and reshared? Could we infect the world with a virus of poetic justice?

We want to hear your love, your peace and your justice poems.
