Poet Bio

Music is a reflection of one’s mind,
and what people are collectively listening to
is a reflection of the values of the different groups
and society as a whole.

On Spotify, for example,
Led Zeppelin has approximately 12.930.000 listeners
per month,
Bob Dylan 9.107.000 listeners,
Roger Miller 836.000 listeners,
Simon & Garfunkel 7.740.000 listeners,
The Who 7.330.000 listeners,
Adam Sandler 580.000 listeners,
Kirin J Callinan 109.000 listeners,
Ennio Morricone 2.193.000 listeners,
Michael Nesmith 39.000 listeners,
Black Light Burns 62.000 listeners,
The 69 Eyes 179.000 listeners,
The Doors 7.500.000 listeners,
George Harrison 5.160.000 listeners,
The Beatles 20.400.000 listeners,
and Gordon Lightfoot 1.150.000 listeners.

At the same time, for example,
Ariana Grande has approximately 54.960.000 listeners
per month,
Taylor Swift 38.840.000 listeners,
Clairo 6.000.000 listeners,
Madonna 12.107.000 listeners,
Cher 6.072.000 listeners,
Cyndi Lauper 8.200.000 listeners,
Jennifer Lopez 12.773.000 listeners,
Gwen Stefani 11.130.000 listeners,
Miley Cyrus 28.800.000 listeners,
Dua Lipa 41.500.000 listeners,
Ella Fitzgerald 10.180.000 listeners,
Beyoncé 28.900.000 listeners,
Dionne Warwick 2.640.000 listeners,
Spice Girls 6.600.000 listeners,
and Tina Turner 5.900.000 listeners.

The masculine (fire)
has been smothered completely by
the feminine (water,)
and Justin Bieber
who has approximately 52.500.00 listeners per month
rises from the ashes to represent “us all.”
