Say, Blue? Where you headed?
Off to see Lady Cherub,
playing cupid with her love bow and idleness arrows,
with her candy-heart-filled picnic basket?
Will you say hello for me?
and tell her to tend to my broken heart
that she keeps in her back yard
under blue clover, in a dead man’s casket?
Tell me, Blue,
do you miss me yet?
Do you?
