There Shall Be a Move!
I thought I knew
Until I was asked:
What is rhythm?
It is that thing
I said, that rings-
throbs and beats
In one’s head and heart-
After the song ‘s ended
Seemingly,
that wasn’t enough an explanation
let alone meaning
Dare i try again-if loud-
But if allowed, say:
Rythm, what ever it be,
Is pattern, a heartbeat,
a repetition akin to knocking
Upon a closed door
asking to be let in
To no avail
Some day soon
We’ll win
It’s never one way, remember
Seasons too have to rest
After an age’s journey,
Always, we start again.
There shall be a move .
We shall be moved too
If not of own volition
But of others
What shall it be?????
