Liberation Day

Today is Liberation Day in Uganda. On this date in 1986, after a five year civil war, the National Resistance Army (NRA) led by Yoweri Museveni, took power from the military junta led by Tito Okello Lutwa and this date has been celebrated annually[1]source: http://www.ugandamission.net/aboutug/holidays.html read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uganda#Independence_.281962.29.
