This is for the suffocation
For the raging dreams of war
For the tears that nobody sees
For the moments home became dilapidated
For the times my heart fell victim to war
For the times I couldn’t look at myself
For the times my body swallowed my confidence

The pain paralyzing me
The same pain, my life support
The very pain, my growth.
