A Resilient Bone by Mthabisi Sithole

Poem

no loss, only boundless lives
thatching a tenement living
with the same stuff as yours

the adrift day/night,
between walls made
of broken mirrors
on both sides

there are days,
alone fit and dark
to house blinding terrors

coupling with nights
light to their touch,
two lovers at war
with a third
