A Song to Heal the Earth by Paula Puolakka

Poem

A song to heal the Earth was sung a long time ago.
The throat of the troubadour was cut
when Mr. Kaczynski was locked inside a vault.

Today, the so-called saviors of Nature
are manifesting change and, falsely, declaring
to be the inventors of the grand theories and ideas.

It’s nice to pat yourself on the back for nout, right.
It must be a perverse delight to reap the benefits
instead of the man who truly put up a fight.

A song to heal the Earth was sung a long time ago.
The throat of the troubadour was cut
when Mr. Kaczynski was locked inside a vault.
