Poet Bio

It is so cold here.
Sometimes in the night,
I curl up and say your name for comfort and warmth
wonder; why you take me for a grapefruit
only want me for my insides
and do away with all else.

I love the way you say my name,
say it again, please!
coddle it inside your mouth
that is as close as I can get to you
