I am made in anger
I am death and danger
Finding homes in strangers
Eating men, the ‘saviours.’
I brick not brimstones
I am pain and tombstones
I am the fire of anguish
My power is I vanquish.

Poet Bio

Batia is a writer of many things, poetry being her favourite. Her themes delve into the messiness of the human condition which is reflected through her unstructured but rhythmic style. She believes words are her means of navigating territories of anger, pain and oppression.
