As Subtle As A Snowflake by Julia A Masi PhD

Julia A Masi | March 23rd, 2024 | poetry | No Comments

Poem

it began with microaggressions
as subtle as snow flurries
in autumn
innuendos and jokes
wafting in the gentle breeze
as subtle as snowflakes
melting on the tongue
micro-doses of propaganda
crept into our lexicon
as subtle as the change of seasons
the fatal virus of Xenophobia
infect our air and water
declaring war
on Human Rights
