Be yourself, vulgarity is prayer too! by Mawizana

Poem

Six acts of kindness
Saved a soul
Six words that stopped this soul
From reaching the end
Of the noose
Be yourself, vulgarity is prayer too!
Paint your lips
In glitter & gold
Laugh loudly and dress in feathers
Stop counting your days
Be yourself, vulgarity is prayer too!
I lay beside that soul
Plastered with their kisses
We were once wounded & lost
But we found our rhythm
And we became ourselves
