lavender seeds
so tiny like black ants
but grow so huge like elephants
to meet nature admirers’ needs
lavender seed
so dark coated
with inner beauty loaded
waiting for sun’s ears to heed
though buried under manure
their heads shoot up to greet
sun’s warm hands to feel newer
and stand upright on their tender feet
they bud in their youthful stage
colourful petals smile at passing bees
purple flowers adorned in beauty with age
putting to shame neighbouring trees
then comes trading florists
holding the flower baskets
to pick bundles for tourists
and sell them in the market
