Bloom Beyond the Frost by Beula Lewis

Poem

As the air fills with fog,
attempting to smother
ever-blossoming lavender,
new routes become essential
a way for roots to latch.

In silence, the journey
begins. It is not a competition,
not a race to see who wins.

Free from fog, free from frost,
the lavender blooms once again.
