Body, Mine by Charl Landsberg

Poem

remind me how I’m not the same
pack my body full of shame
it’s easy when I’m timid, mild
play out your hate on the fat child
and you’re a nine, a ten maybe
and i’m a two if I’m lucky
a fun game when you’re over five
if less, a struggle to survive
