Poet Bio

Even whilst bound in chains and caged
They channelled secret messages to those homebound
A secret their captors never would know
That alone, put a smile on their faces

The moments that passed were like fleeting smiles
Spread across the face for an elusive few seconds
Yet filled the heart profoundly, with mysterious messages
That one day there’ll be freedom at inglorious prices

The slave that rules and the master that follows
For one who works and not one that wallows
