Bull Market by Stephen Kingsnorth

Poem

I quiver hearing mantra’s chant,
that catchline slogan aired again,
a formula, proof enterprise,
the jingle ringing in my head,
targets and goals both set and met.

The aim is to aim, strapline brand,
but I’ve been burnt, ambition high,
though featherlight their strategy,
and scoring high, or overboard –
the cost as bull where the dart lands.
