But none do escape Justice by Blou Leask

Blou Leask | August 5th, 2009 | poetry | No Comments

Iago bred deceit
whispered lies
drip-dropped
his poison
to multiply
treachery
with death
not-too-nice
this friend
whose sword
does knife
his brother’s back
in truth

green-eyed snake
hiss to twist
in schizophrenic
coloured coils
this river
you choose
but to excuse

you have been:
weighed
you have been:
measured
you have been:
….

that line
you know
well

it finds
you
out

and want
you may
but that,
for me?

no,
thank you!
