Chalice by Azhar Amien

The stroke of a pen
Weaves new worlds
The swipe of a hand
Spawns new tales
Hundreds of stories
Meet whimsical prose
Touch eloquent poetry
Glimpse a star of pure creation
Heart and soul neatly wrapped
In the black box of your secrets
Afraid to show to the world
Where thousands of voices
Drown the sound of yours
Afraid to strip your armour
Relinquish your private crown
The tremors in your mind
Scream in whispers
And you remain tucked away
Until the allure of madness
Presents a silver chalice
Begging you to pour out
A taste of your soul
