Poet Bio

If my poems were flowers
I’d plant them beside my daddy’s grave.
I know that no man has powers
But am proud to be the son he raised.

If my poems were clouds
I’d water them down like rain
Wash off the shrouds
And polish daddy’s resting plane.

If my poems could breed money
I’d build dad a proper tombstone
Sadly dad’s grave is nothing but sandy
Rugged without his name tagged on.

If my poems could grant a dream
I’d be smiling right next to him.
