Daily Sojourn by ANEEK CHATTERJEE

Poem

Emotions search channels
to float outside. Some are open,
but many remain closed.

Through open passages
joy, pleasure, glory and
victory sail out quickly.

My id, pains, defeat,
anguish and agony always
stumble on blocked alleys.

I survive daily; inflated
and deflated, to feel
fresh leaves, crushed stones.
