Poet Bio

We are here –
Witness to the endless war

Women and children
Being murdered
More people
Getting homeless
Children starving
And The super-rich laughing
And the super-rich laughing
At their dinner tables –

We are here turning deaf
To the cry of a whole nation
Turning a blind eye
To babies being bombed,
Humans being killed like cockroaches –

We are here in the comfort
Of our own homes
Glued on our coaches
Changing TV channel after TV channel
Looking for something to entertain us
While the SCREAM of a whole nation
Will never, ever reach our stale conscience –
