You are heartily invited to the first ever ‘Diaspora In Ascension’ gathering, an intimate musical-arts concert, visual arts experience and dialogue series hosted by Stompie Selibe, Joel Karabo Elliott and the Broken Chords Creative Studio in Selby, Johannesburg.

Friday 19 February
7pm galleries open, 8pm music begins

This first gathering is a very special one for we celebrate the 50th birthday of our close friend, honoured poet and Joburg living legend Phillippa Yaa de Villiers. The evening will feature a live duet music performance by Selibe & Elliott, as well as open house tours of the resident artists Vusi Mfupi, Ephia Maphoto, Zolile Phetshane and Stompie Selibe, with the unique chance to buy artworks direct from the artists.
