Poem

You still cowering from death
Worse with solitude twined as one with your breath
Making your body the swallower of unknowns
Mirroring a strikingly strange soul inside you
Khalanga
You have shown tremors about its tales
You cuss a lot when is dark more than once
You have given the night new names
I don’t know who told you it only visits when is dark
Sometimes I wonder where you will run when it comes
Because shadows or dumps are not your thing either

And What if comes?
What if it is what you imagine of it?
A ghoul reeking of foul stench from its screaming victims
Will you be ready?

What they say about fears is true
For someone who forgets a lot
This time you might forget your name too
Sadly I have no motivation to fuel your barrenness
Of courage except for my truth
So you might as well face them

Its time!
You have grown enough to understand that a part of your skin
Was kissed by something not perfect like sins
It’s time!
You realise that your fears have confined a path for your possible reach
Your breath is comfortable with silence
Merrier with loneliness but troubled by subtle voices
Murmuring “Framing, framing, framing.”
In reference to your demeanour on this life thing
It’s time you breathe loud
The prison guise of fears was never meant for you
