Poem

In Dreams,
Beams
Of hope
Appear
And fears
Intermittently
Disappear.
In dreams,
Glimmers
Of hope
Disappear.
Rain of tears
Simmer
And a rainbow
Of fears
Appears.

We curse
We laugh
We approve
And in dreams,
We disapprove!

Singing
Loving
Mating
Hating
Murdering
And swimming
On deep seas
Of happiness
And in shallow
Muddy places
Of sorrows
Are all granted,
A Courtesy of
Our wandering thoughts,
And all
Thanks to our dreams

Today we dream
And tomorrow,
We dream more
And in our dreams
Our nakedness
Never eludes
But in reality
Our brokenness
Is clothed
In delusions
And caricatured
In our day-dreams

But I wonder,
Should the real
And symbolic nature
And duality
Of our dreams
Encourage
Or discourage us
From dreaming?

Ha ha ha!
What a stupid question
To ask-
But let me leave you
On it
And while you are pondering
On it
Let me honor what is
Of God
And continue dreaming
