E musica la belle di გალაკტიონი / Galaktioni by Tamar Gvelesiani

Tamar Gvelesiani | July 18th, 2020 | poetry | No Comments

Please don’t be amazed if you see me wander away,
If someday I’ll disjoin the universe face.
And if you ask me: “Why?”
My answer will not sound quiet:

“I’m challenging the whole earth to a duel.”

No poets, no apprentices,
But the whole Galaxy,
All the thoughts and senses.

Feelings I set out –
During heart pounds –
In my brain.

I’m calling luminary
And the mountain pearls
To help my rhythms sing again.

Winds and rains,
Thoughts that play,
I invite to dance
Those blameless flakes.

And dewy fogs,
Those golden dreams
being watered and screened.

I’m calling stormy waves
To come on heaven way,
Where breeze of March
Blows insanely fast.

And I follow the shambles of wind
With my soul flying so free.

Marches and Aprils,
Thoughts of May,
I could rhyme
In November rain.

And I’m disconnecting from all of you again,
And I’m turning back to my rhythm-shades.

I still challenge the whole earth to a duel
With a gaze of being proud.
And I’m still here!
In heavenly clouds.
