Poem

Many have searched
For the secret tincture,
Procured from the alchemist’s stone,
But rather than search for the
Magical mixture
I set my eyes upon His throne…

Oh, the life-saving Elixir
Flows from the stone that
The builders rejected,
Our Cornerstone,
In Christ alone,
I partake in blood Divine,
And in so doing,
The imbuing of life-eternal
And everlasting,
Through the life He gave,
This life – unyielding and abundant –
is mine.

Death, where is thy victory,
Grave, where is thy sting?
Disrobed and trembling,
Before the King of Kings

Why then set my eyes on a tiny cure
That does not satisfy,
When from His throne,
From the Cornerstone,
comes rivers of joy and life?

So this then is an invitation,
Come jump in today –
Come have your fill, be satisfied!
Come jump in today –
Don’t let the opportunity pass you by!

Come jump in today –
This is Eternal Life.
