in this country, the flags fly high like spears
they point in directions.

outwards they point toward
north, east, west and south.

in memorium King Zwelithini has faded
in memorium King Zwelithini has faded !
in memorium King Zwelintini has faded !!

the barricades of the past are lifted
and colour and creed and races exist –
blood spats, spit and rifles, I say,
I am cared for by the people of this country
I am appreciated by the people of this country
I have been given a free pass, not a dom pass.
Mandela is dead !
shame has been brought upon us …
