Poet Bio

What would Willy Wonka say
if he was here to witness the insanity:
the mindless destruction of the G-d given beauty,
the passive-aggressive attitude of the nihilists,
the pressured converting of the truly free,
and the ill-wishing attitude of the misanthropes
towards their fellow human beings in the time of distress?

If the road human beings have collectively taken
has only increased catastrophes
and people, in general, are feeling bad
all around the world
because of the lack of understanding and love
and because there’s no money to buy food or medicine,
then would it be sensible to
“Strike that. Reverse it. Thank you,” as the “fair ginger” would say:
to dump the wrong script and lines
and get on the right thing.
