Poet Bio

In the forest, ‘neath the trees so tall,
Where leaves and needles softly fall,
Acorns scatter ‘cross the bed below
As shadows dance in light’s warm glow.

Whispers rustle in evening breeze,
Darkness falls beneath the trees
Like spires, still reeds in orange gleam-
A vibrant sight to haunt my dream.

Verdun hopes sprout from mulch below,
This living thing that seems to grow
As I, alone, follow my path.
Its presence, hand-fast, the nature’s wrath.

‘Tis here where beauty and fear collide,
Nature and faith live intertwined-
I hear its pulse and make my vow:
To cherish this woodland, my ancestors’ shroud.
