Hounding by Mitja Lovše

Poem

A roasted almond
and a glass of wine
over the death of what
you consider to be wrong.

A sheepish face
and a degree in fear
inflicted up all of those
that are seen as unworthy.

A speech pattern
and a link to the past
many continue to notice
in the form of a recurrence.

That sheepish face laughs
in the face of the deaths caused.
