If only wasted time was a boomerang.
If only God had blessed
you with some talent.
If only you had a million years
to discover your calling.
If only your family and friends
would believe in you.
If only you had a Viking’s courage.
If only the odds of success
were a hundred per cent.
If only you had enough money
and knew the right people.
If only you could lift the curse
of caring about what others will think.
If only you knew where to begin.
If only you had teachers
who could inspire you.
If only the stars would
If only your time wasn’t
plagued with folderol.
If only lady luck was on your side.
If only you had the sense to say,
Forget all of that.
This finite tree of life.
These branches are mine
to shake any way
