The dream in the music,
The art on the stage,
Life in the music,
Innate ability and devotion,
Made her a formidable force,
A diva and songstress,
She hit the crescendo of the music industry,
She lived in the spotlight,
She was haloed by lights and cameras,
Before each concert,
She asked for divine strength,
She emptied herself in her songs,
They were written for her,
for her travails and the world,
Some songs linger,
Some songs are evergreen,
So are her songs,
They live after her,
Till the world gets to the brink,
Till we all go through our doors.
