All this night, I’ve sought the stars,
their dim light, a whisper in the void,
a feeble echo of a thousand forgotten souls,
trapped in the embrace of the blackness.
Through the window to the stars, I see them,
flickering like broken promises,
each one a tear that never fell,
a silent plea lost to the vast abyss.
In the blackness, I search for your shadow,
but the night consumes all,
leaving only the cold breath of solitude,
that wraps itself around my weary heart.
This abyss is a mirror,
reflecting all that I’ve lost,
and in this endless night,
I am but a memory, fading into the dark.
