walls erode into water that glistens
Listen to the steadfast sound of river.
Shiver when sun is down and gusts
bust their way across canyon face,
lace air with grains guaranteed to change,
rearrange every surface into grit,
drift into food and cups until it is in
spin of every time of your day.
Away it will not stay.
