injustice for all by Luci Black

Poem

Sensibility hung on the
monument of life;
the full breath of
faith in humanity
slowly exhaled through
the flared nostrils
of injustice –

how foul the instinct
of those claiming
to be fair

in a world where only
the young,
the blood young,
the fighting young,
the dying young
seem to

care.
