Invigorating Voices by Diliza L. Madikiza

Poem

Poets and philosophers
Do not take the law into your own mouths
If it injects a bitter taste in your tongue
Spill it out and speak
What law must choke your voices?

Poets and philosophers
Unfasten yourself from cages of ideas
Unshackle all chains that mute voices
Speak indefinitely
Speak continuously
