a poem is perhaps
only a poem.
But if you have ever read
some anthropology books,
you will realise
that it is also a rite of passage,
a trip to the other side,
a trip to the lights and shadows
of a magic world
which is entirely real,
because you can imagine it.
And if you know that world
you will never be the same again.
