Labyrinth by Thompson Emate

Poem

Walls that evoke nightmares,
A home for dark paths,
Shelter for the strange,
Space for encroaching shadows.

A door opens to the night,
A path emerges for the eerie,
An encounter with the hidden awaits,
There is both emergence and engagement.

Slumber for the weary body,
Freeing the soul to journey through the meadow,
Granting the privilege of a sojourn and understanding,
As darkness and light vie for dominance.

Songs of freedom echo,
Offering hope for perpetual light,
Today is the story of tomorrow,
Life is a labyrinth.
