Let her bleed by Little Bird

You enter my fray with such vigour
Then leave just as quickly a saunter
This bone crushing feeling I can’t alter
As you leave me here in stifled wonder.

Endless yearning for something,
Someone other,
Someone to fill my sails and be my rudder.
To hold me close through rain and thunder.

And sunshine and rainbows, through winter and summer.
Now and then and everything in between.
Can’t you see I need you to need me.

I can’t beg I can’t plead;
We need what we need
I can’t fight I concede.
My heart bleeds let her bleed.
