The people of my country
enjoy the sunrise as the moon
rests on its spineless ocean: We must
appreciate the flames of deceit.
As we drown in love in a nutshell, we
dream of our lives through the flames
of passion and demotivation.
As the sky falls to dawn, we
awaken thinking tomorrow would bring
hope to our land.
We turn the soil like before.
We stop the harvests for new ones.
