Mama Africa by Yoric Watterott

Mama Africa
In anguish we suffer
Your sons crawling off pavements
Malnutrition only feeding pain
The sun is peeling our flesh
Dust inherits our lungs
The land is thirsty
Only tears to drink
Aids stalks the unborn
Brothers slaughtered by minority
Bleeding for our freedom
Does anyone know we exist?

Mama Africa
In anguish we suffer
Mama Africa
