It doesn’t go out of her sight,
It even goes to bed with her,
An emblem of her devotion,
A sign of her consecration.
Time has brought it her way,
Age has bound them together,
The day doesn’t see her uncovered,
An allegiance to her faith she desires to render.
It shades her from tempestuous elements,
It unites her with the Divine,
It’s a springboard for her enthusiasm,
She has a clear understanding of life’s chasm.
It is replaced with time,
It still doesn’t change the clime,
The new begins the round,
It’s her ornament of grace.
